"You want to see a pimple," she said. "Look at this beast." She pointed to an unusually large zit on the side of her own nose.
"Oh!" her friend exclaimed. "I thought that was a nose piercing! You should put glitter on it or something. You could totally get away with it...."

Congrats on your 1,000th post!
I'm in northern New Jersey.
Roswell, GA! You're probably wondering who the heck I am....I am a former Wheaton classmate of your brother's, and the sister of a former IL church mate of your's. We met LONG ago one time when I was visiting your IL church with my sister (SK are her initials and she is also a Wheaton grad--undergrad and grad school. She is married to DK and they have 2 young boys--to give you a hint). I got hooked on your blog well over a year ago via a link from someone else's blog, but for the life of me I cannot remember who that was (it wasn't your brother's wife's blog because I know I found your's before hers). I enjoy reading about your parenting challenges as we parent our own 3 kids. Thanks for letting me read!!

Congrats on 1000! I've just begun this summer and only now really getting into it more. I love to read other blogs and I can't always remember how I got to who I got to, but I have a whole new set of virtual friends!! And the previous post about the intercom... I am sending my hubby to Radio Shack for an intercom. We have been yelling around corners for too long... and new construction put his home office onto the end of the house, but on the other side of the garage. We can put in multiples and we can be heard!!
That's hilarious Jeanne!
1000 posts - congratulations!!!!!
Looking forward to the next 1000. :)
I think I've lost count of mine.
