Please pray for the families of these students from Taylor University (a Christian college in Indiana) and especially for our good friends whose son's girlfriend (of 4 years) was killed in the accident.
Thank you so much for your prayers. As a whole the campus is going to be so much stronger because of the pain we suffered together. Your prayers, and the prayers of others are the only thing getting us through this.
"Those seeking the life of the spirit should be cheerful and free, and not neglect recreation. Married people must act in conformity with their vocation--but their progress will of necessity be but the pace of a hen." --Teresa of Avila
"Some things God can teach us only very slowly, at the pace of walking, the speed of life." --Arthur Paul Boers, The Way Is Made by Walking
What does a hen do all day? Nothing but walk about in endless circles, pecking at this or that--yet she is one of the most creative and productive of God's creatures. Though my days may take me in circles, I pray for the daily fruitfulness of a hen as I nurture the four boys and two girls God has given us.
"For unflagging interest and enjoyment, a household of children, if things go reasonably well, certainly makes all other forms of success and achievement lose their importance by comparison." ~Theodore Roosevelt
"Reading makes a man full; conference makes a man ready; writing makes a man exact." ~Sir Francis Bacon
O God, you have taught me since I was young, and to this day I tell of your wonderful works.
~Psalm 71:17
"No matter how many kids you might have, I am firmly convinced that a person can find the time to do the things they want to do." ~Dortha, in The Prizewinner of Defiance, Ohio
“Nothing has really happened unless its been described [in words]. Keep a diary. Don’t let a day pass without recording it, whether something interesting happens or not. Something interesting happens every day.” ~Virginia Woolf
"The two most engaging powers of an author are to make new things familiar and familiar things new."
~Samuel Johnson
"How can I know what I think till I see what I say?”
~E.M. Forster

I am so sorry to hear about this - I'm lifting the families and friends up right now.
I am sorry as well... prayers are easy to give. No problem. Peace to you and your friends...
oh, that's so awful! praying.
Lord have mercy! Christ have mercy!
I will be praying today.
Warmly,
Diane
Thank you all for your prayers!
I'm giving their girls a ride to and from play practice tonight--wishing there was more I could do. So--I'm praying.
