Many thanks to my cyber-friend Sparrow for helping me with the new look! (I'm not done but I sure have spent enough time on it for now.)
This photo is indeed a hen house, an abandoned one on the farm where I grew up.
Now can anyone help me change my blog title so it will show up? Nothing I've tried will change it to any other color!

Does it look black to you? The weirdest thing is, I just tested the farm link above, and it's showing up white there...so what's going on??

It is black for me, but it would be quite visible as black on the bottom of the picture. Great picture!!! Nice work.

Taryn--Very observant of you! I did try it...but it didn't work. Sigh.
But it may be a clue to locating the right line of code in the HTML...I shall have to pursue this line of reasoning more closely, Watson.
