Ballroom Scenes

So in the first Ballroom Scene, before Cinderella arrives, Blondechick14 and her partner (who turned 14 the day after the photo above was taken) are buried at the back of the stage.

But in Ballroom Scene #2, they were put in the front row...

...possibly because of lifts like these?? Look how high she is!

(I couldn't believe that I got this shot--in focus!!) (Click to enlarge!)

Thanks, everyone, for enjoying this with me!

Jen--

They teach them everything--my daughter had never done anything like this before. However, at the auditions, they do call back certain kids for dancing to see who has the aptitude. Of course they gradually gain experiece, too--this is my daughter's 8th show, if you count summer camp, and she's always had dancing roles.

Every kid who's in the show is also in a class; she's so excited to take a swing dancing class next session!

Beautiful shots--you're right, she's so high and well-positioned; looks so natural. Afraid I missed this lift in the actual show, and couldn't see her over in the left corner, so glad to see these shots. The px are great of all of the children. We are soooo glad we could come. Pianomum
