Yippee!!!

WE HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT ON OUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we are happy with the price agreed upon--not bad for this market.

So we close on our new house tomorrow and on the old one in mid-June. I still can't quite believe it! It's only sinking in as old worries resurface to be met with new thoughts, like: I don't have to worry about weeding and mulching the flower beds now. Oh, we can cancel the Chem-Lawn service. And we can leave out boxes as we pack, without worrying "what if a realtor calls?"

NO MORE SHOWINGS!!!!!!!!!!!! (That's worth all caps and a few !!'s too!)

And most importantly: THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD WITH US!!!!!!!!!!!!!

***

Also, rejoice with us that Bantam9's foot is nearly 100% now, and the first school day performance of Oliver went well today!

I will be in Wisconsin at the closing tomorrow (while my kids do the second school day performance); I'll be back in time for Opening Night--when we'll be joined by my parents, visiting from Ohio, and if they're up for it, they'll join us afterwards for the Cast Party.

We'll have two more performances on Saturday, and then we'll all head up to our new house to spend the night there on air mattresses--Grandma and Grandpa too! They'll get to see the new house and attend Light of Christ for the first time.

A crazy but memorable weekend before us--and such good news behind us. And ahead of us. You know what I mean.

PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!

I've got such a big grin over this side of the Atlantic!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO pleased for you that it has all come to a conclusion. When God has his hand on something it all fits together and all makes sense... usually with a few learning turns on the way.
Have a lovely night's sleep on Saturday

Dear Jeanne,

We're so glad for you! And we'll be praying as you make the transition. We're nearly two year's out on our move and adjustment to a new church family. God is good. We'll also hit you up for a visit when we're heading through WI--probably in mid-July.

Love,

Nancy Bergner

Yea, Jeanne! That is FANTASTIC news! You all must be so relieved to not be living in the "open house" mindset. Can't wait to hear when the deal is DONE!

What a sense of humor God has in providing for us! He made you trust and wait and wait and wait, and then it seems He let everything come together quite well. I'm not sure if my theology is coherent there, all I know is that its beautiful to know that we can trust His timing.

Such good news. Praise God. May these next few whirlwind weeks have a few moments of stillness to enjoy, as well.

I am so very happy for you! God has answered these prayers. Yet, I am sad to see you go. It has been great to share in the same worship and geographic community. Our loss is Kenosha's gain, it's all part of God's grand plan.
