Return to Narnia This Weekend

Two more weekends of shows left!

Here's a dear friend of ours as Father Christmas. That's his daughter just to his left (our right), in the white blouse and tan cap, playing Lucy, and my daughter, playing Susan, is to his right (our left). In between him and "Susan" is our family friend Bethany as Mrs. Beaver (in brown with a red apron).

Mrs. Beaver: But I thought the Witch decreed "always winter, never Christmas." 'Ow'd ja get back into Narnia?

Father Christmas: Aslan is on the move, that's how. The White Witch's magic is weaker now....

Though it may seem it's been winter forever
And you feel numb from the snow.
Joy! For joy! At last it's Christmas!
Wake the frozen countryside;
Warm them with the gladsome news:
At last it's Christmastide!

I thank you, Lord, that you are "on the move," thawing frozen hearts, and warming numb souls with your holy fire. As we let you in to the landscape of our hearts, you end the Evil One's wintry rule and bring the joy of Christmas--Christ comes to us!

Marye--

So glad you visited!

Erin--

These shots are all from the final dress rehearsal and there wasn't anyone else available to take pictures of the scenes I'm in. I'm hoping a friend will get a few this weekend, though!
